On the morning of September 4, 2025, Headway was honored to welcome Mr. Hiroyuki Iyoda (Director - Forwarding and Logistics Division) and Mr. Masahiro Yoshida (General Manager - International Project Sales Dept. East), representatives from Toyotsu Logistics Service (TLS), for an official visit and working session at Headway’s Ho Chi Minh office.
TLS is one of Headway’s key global agency partners in the Japanese market. Over the years, both sides have closely cooperated to handle shipments to Japan, particularly in the industrial and manufacturing sectors such as steel, seat components, and finished seats for export.
According to Vietnam Customs, the total Vietnam–Japan trade turnover reached USD 46 billion in 2024. In the first four months of 2025, Vietnam’s exports to Japan reached USD 8.5 billion (up 12%), while imports stood at USD 7.9 billion (up 6.5%) compared to the same period last year. These impressive growth figures underline the strong upward momentum of Vietnam–Japan trade, especially in industrial and manufacturing goods.
During this visit, Headway and Toyotsu team had a meaningful discussion to:
Exchange strategic transport solutions to optimize seamless supply chain flows.
Align processes and quality standards, enhancing safety and operational accuracy.
Review SOPs for Japan-bound shipments to ensure compliance with the market’s strict regulations.
(This strategic meeting between Headway and TLS teams aims to expand cooperation opportunities for Vietnam–Japan shipments)
This connection serves as a solid foundation for both parties to implement key projects, reaffirming Headway’s role as Toyotsu’s trusted agent in Vietnam. We highly value this partnership and are committed to delivering sustainable logistics solutions that contribute to the growth of Vietnam–Japan bilateral trade in the future.
